For the techies in the group, I am sharing this on behalf of the Kenya
Network Operators Group Programme Committee.
Trust all are well. See details of the next tutorial below:
RPKI (Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) is an infrastructure to
improve the security of the Internet’s routing infrastructure. By
implementing RPKI in your network, you take a significant step in
preventing your Internet resources and presence from being hijacked by
malicious users and also protect your customers/consumers from being
directed away from your services by imposters.
But how does RPKI work and how is it implemented?
Please join the KeNOG tutorial on RPKI where our guest speaker Mark Tinka
– Head of Engineering at Seacom – will walk us through RPKI.
The tutorial will be on the 7th of July 2021 at 2PM Kenya time.
