1 billion to the DCI to fight cyber-crime

Good Morning Emmanuel.

Your view therefore is that allocating $10m to DCI will improve the cyber
> security profession?

Where did I present such a view? But now that you bring it up – I will say
it would certainly have the potential to do so if the funds were to be
spent well.

How much did send $300m on integrated CCTV cameras project improve on
> security in Nairobi? Any arrests.

What is the relation between CCTV cameras and advanced cyber crime?

Anyway, since you have brought up the CCTV project, at least you will agree
that they are seemingly delivering on their main objective – helping the
security forces in preventing terror related attacks. And by this I am not
just referring to AlShabab but also politically instigated terrorism such
as the clip that was circulated about some armed people attacking the
police on Jan 30th.

Again why take out money from the USF for they new cash cow(cyber
> security), when there is a ministry of ICT and the OP with their own

Once more I can only speculate that the government is drawing from the USF
due to a shortage of funds. This needs to be clarified and explained to the
public. If you are of the opinion that the President is wrong, then go
register your complaint in court.

Your ignorance is bliss. Also, please just read through what someone else
has taken their time to express before you get yourself triggered based on
nothing.

Kevin
