The fourth Kenya internet Governance Forum was organized by Kenya Network information Centre (KeNIC) and the Kenya ICT Action Network(KICTANet) and was held on the 22nd July 2011 at AFRALTI training centre. The Kenya IGF was meant to offer a platform through which Internet stakeholders in Kenya can contribute to the Global Internet Governance Forum to be held later in the year in Nairobi. It was a follow up of the online discussions on the KICTANet mailing list. The national forum is meant to among other things raise awareness of the global Internet Governance issues while reviewing corresponding country positions based on new ICT developments.
