Private data for jobs

I agree with Ali! It’s been happening and yes the Data Privacy Act is
forcing employers to disclose and obtain consent! This isn’t a bad thing.
In the US my second home even to get a tenancy agreement, background and
CRB checks are mandatory, leave alone employment!
