This goes directly to Dr Ndemo & Kukubo, and others that may be high up there in as far as ICT matters are Involved. This Athlete Julius Yego presents an interesting twist to the role of ICT in everyday life. His story if i got it correctly has an interesting mix of ICT and sports. Lacking a coach, he used youtube videos to learn how to throw the javelling correctly, and there he is, at the tail end of the javelling in london 2012 but still wearing a proud Kenyan flag in the list. He gets an A for guts, A for creative use of Technology and an A for determination.
I think the above mentioned should arrange for him to get something small, possibly use him as a technology Brand ambassador of sorts…
I think K24 featured him.
Best Regards
Well, if this is true, then an ICT ambasaddor, should be in the making.

Hey don’t forget that he made it to the finals if I am not wrong!!! That was a feat in itself and he did so well despite no profession training etc. Which leaves a lot to be desired by our supposed well trained and experienced athletes who looked like they had so much beef with the Kenyan officials (who went to enjoy themselves in my opinion) and didn’t bother to perform well. It was so obvious!
Shame on all those responsible and a Well done to Julius Yego who would be a great ICT sports ambassador!!
cheers
